What this test involves
- Clear stars by typing the row, then the column.
- Yellow stars are priority: worth 3 points, and they expire.
- White stars are worth 1 point and will wait for you.
How to prepare for the Vigilance Test
- Work a row or a column at a time. A systematic sweep beats hunting, and the digits come out faster.
- Break the sweep for yellow stars every time. Three points now beats one point later.
- Edge cells are quickest because you need fewer glances at the labels to be sure of the coordinate.
