What this test involves
- Ten minutes and three tasks running at once, with a 10-second break halfway through.
- FIGURES: answer the maths on the keypad, then Enter. C clears the entry; the physical keyboard does nothing. Once you press Enter the answer is locked.
- LOGISTICS: when a CIRCLED aircraft enters a coloured shape, press that colour. Ignore uncircled aircraft.
- GROUPS: aircraft show a callsign as they enter and leave. Remember them for the YES/NO questions.
- It starts gently and builds: more aircraft, faster, and the sums move from adding up to multiplying and dividing.
How to prepare for Figures, Logistics and Groups
- Do not freeze on the maths. A wrong or skipped sum costs one mark; a missed colour or callsign costs another. Keep all three ticking.
- Watch the circled aircraft only, the uncircled ones are there to pull your eye away.
- Say each callsign in your head as it enters and "gone" as it leaves. Rehearsal beats trying to recall cold.
